Venturing out into multi media via a flip video

I'm thinking ONLY THINKING about doing some cooking videos for the column. I decided to see how the videos would look when loaded up on a site by doing this little ditty. It's a quick tour of the very extravagant food photo table and office. I get a lot of very complimentary emails and such about my food photography. (Points added to you cause a photog always like compliments on their work!) Mostly my food photog work is very upclose and personal with lots of detail and no fluff. I'm not a fluff kind of person in general. I like clean lines with no distractions. Ok, enough typing and now on to see the test drive of a video.

Oh and look over to the left and scroll down, I added a neat widget that helps convert measurements for cooking. Cool, especially if you are a lame brain like me and in the heat of a recipe can't remember crap about numbers.

Here's a problem though. Someone will have to film the video stuff for me. I can't cook and video at the same time. Looks like Adam may learn to do some video work.....

I'm feeling nostalgic and sappy.....

IMPORTANT FABULOUS news about Lily!

We got great news yesterday at St. Jude!! Lily's counts were up a little bit more. After discontinuing her shots, her white count and ANC had dropped, but they were still in the normal range. This was to be expected since the shots were to increase her white cells so she would not be so susceptible to infection. We were also warned that her hemoglobin and platelets could drop some from no longer getting the shots, but they were UP!! Lily had also been sick with a cold 2 wks ago which also makes your blood counts drop, but they were UP!!! Her hemoglobin was 10.5, normal is between 11.5-15.5, her platelets were 111, normal is between 130-400. Because of this, they started weaning her off the cyclosporine. She will go to the Huntsville clinic every 2 weeks to get bloodwork. If her counts do not start to drop, they will lower the cyclo by 25 mgs. each time. She should be off it completely by the middle of September!!!!
Here is the thing, if her counts start to fall, they will stop reducing it and possibly have to increase it again. So, lets ALL pray that this won't happen!!!
Lily doesn't have to go back to Memphis for 8 WEEKS!!!
PLEASE PRAY FOR HER BONE MARROW TO CONTINUE TO WORK AS IT SHOULD EVEN WITHOUT THE CYCLOSPORINE.
PLEASE PRAY FOR GOD TO TAKE THIS APLASTIC ANEMIA AWAY FOREVER!!! (GOD IS IN CONTROL!!)
PLEASE PRAY FOR NO LONG TERM SIDE EFFECTS.
Please also pray that Lily will be able to go to school all day this year, and be able to get back to the activities that she enjoys.
Thank you so much,
Ginger

Prayers for my soul friend

I have a couple Anamchara "soul friends". Anamchara is the Gaelic/Celtic/Irish word for soul friend. An Anamchara is far different from just a friend because the link runs deep through the soul and our souls are connected with our Heavenly Father. We share heart longings, heart hurts, moments for rejoicing, opportunities for service and deeply spiritual experiences.

Today one of my Anamchara friends is hurting. Please pray for Jammie and her family. She lost her brother yesterday.

My other Anamchara friend, Francis sent me this simple prayer awhile back when I was in the throws of not knowing what was going to come next with my illness. I've prayed this prayer more times than I can count. Today I pray it for Jammie.

Dear Lord,
I bow before you in stillness and feel you very near. Here are my problems. Help me to find your way for me.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
